# The catalogue

> Find, edit, clean up and archive products.

**Catalog** (sidebar) is the master list of every product, with supplier, cost and sale price.

## Reading the table

* **Search** covers name, original name, SKU, brand, kind and size.
* **Fields** (toolbar) chooses the columns. The default view hides the extra detail columns; turn them on when you need them:
  * *Original name* - the supplier's exact text (for CK, the exact wording from CK's sheet).
  * *Weight / length, Strength (mg), Package, Size, Kind* - details that were stripped out of the clean name. Use these to tell apart products that now share a name, such as Swisher Diamonds in different packs.
* **Density** (toolbar): *Comfortable* or *Compact*. Compact is spreadsheet-sized: 22px rows, small text, no product image, long text clipped to one line.
* **Supplier** shows the active supplier. If a product has no priced supplier link yet, the supplier is inferred from the SKU ending (`-CK`, `-GUY`) so the cell is never empty.

## Statuses

`active` (sellable), `pending_review` (new, not yet priced or approved), `archived` (hidden, kept), `deleted`. Only active products are visible to the Signal bot and the catalogue API.

## SKUs

Format `CATEGORY-BRAND-FLAVOUR-VARIANT-SUPPLIER`, ending `-CK` or `-GUY`. Pack variants add parts such as `-P15` or `-C24`. Old SKUs are kept as aliases so older documents still match.

## Deleting and archiving

Delete, bulk archive and bulk delete refresh the table straight away. Archive when you may need the product again.

## Cleaning up names

Names are kept short (brand + flavour/type). The supplier's own wording is stored separately as *original name*, so nothing is lost.
